God is bringing His plans for Uganda to reality.
Jeremiah 33:3 says " Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
Never, in my wildest dreams would I have imagined building a school in Uganda. But the signature of God was indeed, all over this work of faith. God tells us in James 2:18, "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."
By the marvelous grace of God, the Bob J. Perry Christian School in Uganda, Africa is almost completed. Classes begin on February 3, 2020. As you can see in the pictures, the doors and windows are in, the electricity and lighting are finished and the building is beautifully painted. Parents have begun registering their children in this new miracle of a school that our Almighty Creator has provided them through the special people He has chosen. This project has been a huge undertaking and God has provided in such miraculous ways.
The Christian school is planned to have grades K-12 with an expected enrollment of 200 the first year, and possibly as many as 500 by the third year.
As of January 15, 2020, one hundred twenty (120) have been enrolled. There are another 380 children who desperately want to attend this amazing new school. Their parents have come and expressed their desire to enroll their children, but they do not have the funds to do so.
Perhaps you would be able to help make some scholarships available.
The school year in Uganda schools is 9 months. The cost of tuition is $200 for 3 months – or $600 for the entire school year. For this fee, each student will receive:
1. School uniforms
2. All books and materials
3. School lunch
The government schools in Uganda are so bad that most parents do not bother to send their children to school. The only other option is a private school, but the Mamba Village where the school is being built has never had a school so parents who are dedicated to sending their children to school must take them about thirty miles to school on terrible Ugandan dirt roads.
The plans also include establishing a local congregation and a Bible Training School, along with the regular K-12 school. We hope to make full use of these excellent facilities God has provided.
When we visited Uganda in January 2019, this school was only a dream and a prayer by the people who have no place to send their children to school … but now God is answering their prayers.
