DONGZA THAWNG - INDIA TRIBAL MISSIONS
Dongza Thawng and his wife, Hoiching, son, Levi and daughter, Jemima live in Lamka, Manipur, India. Manipur is a contiguous state with Burma.
In Lamka, Dongza has opened the Door of Hope ministry where the Lord is working mightily in his community. His ministry is growing so fast that he is currently looking to buy a new property so that they can expand their mission.
Dongza holds Bible studies with college students and families, youth camps, vacation Bible school and crusades, and has also begun Christian couples retreats to heal marriages and a follow-up program for the new believers who committed their lives for Christ during salvation camp (many of whom are recovering alcoholics). He travels to nearby villages and reaches out to anyone the Lord sends his way with food and the gospel of Jesus Christ and has seen the hand of the Lord moving in a mighty way.
He and a missionary friend, Junus Khan, also witness to Muslims and Hindus in the area. They have had several converts and are helping them to build homes and a new life on some land which was donated by a local doctor. They are helping them grow in their faith while hiding them from persecution.
And on on top of all this, Dongza is translating several Bible study books from English into several of his native dialects so that church lay leaders can grow in their faith and use them for sermons.
Please let us know if you would like to be a vital part of these efforts. We love hearing from you and are thankful for everyone's prayers and support.
